MIZE WATCH D.O.G.S.
WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is the father involvement initiative of the National Center for Fathering that organizes fathers and father figures in order to provide positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security.
Who are Watch D.O.G.S.? Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures who volunteer to serve at least one day each year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.
You will spend some time in your child’s classroom, but will not be shadowing your child. You will be helping different teachers and groups throughout the day.
PTO will send out a sign up at the beginning and middle of the year through email. This is a great opportunity to get involved!! If you have any questions please contact Liz in the office 913-441-0880 or mizepto@gmail.com.
